由于英語中名詞、代詞、數(shù)詞、副詞、動名詞和↕(hé)不(bù)定式等都(dōu)可(kě)以作(zuò)表語，而且英漢兩"→種語言表達方式存在差異，使得(de)表語的¥∞α(de)漢譯産生(shēng)了(le)如(rú)下(xià)不(bù)同的(de)譯≠∞∑法。
1. 直譯
所謂直譯就(jiù)是(shì)按照(zhào)原句子(zǐ)系表結構的(de)詞語順序進↔ ♦行(xíng)翻譯，大(dà)部譯為(wèδ±i)“是(shì)&rdqu₩βo;。如(rú)：
* "Fasteners&q≥<uot; is a general term including such€δ₹♥ widely separated and varied materials as γβnails, screws, nuts a"←≤→nd bolts, locknuts and washers,↑< retaining rings, rivets, and adhesiv↔↑es etc.
“連接件(jiàn)”是(shì)ー個(gè)通(t<δ≈♣ōng)用(yòng)術(shù)語，它包括這(zhè)Ω¥樣ー些(xiē)有(yǒu)很(hěn)大(dà)區(qū)别的(d'≈↓e)、多(duō)種多(duō)樣的(de)部件(jiàn)，如(rú)釘子(zǐ'≤)、螺釘、螺帽和(hé)螺栓、縮緊螺栓和(hé)墊豳、擋圈、鉚釘和(hé)粘合≥劑等。
* The odometer is mechanical, driven ±÷&by a stepper motor.
裡(lǐ)程表是(shì)機(jī)動的(de).由步進電(diàn)機(♦'jī)帶動。
* The purpose of the radiator is t↔o get rid of heat form the engine.
散熱(rè)器(qì)的(de)用(yòng)途是(shì)排放(fà♠₽¥ng)發動機(jī)産生(shēng)的(de)熱(rè)。
2. 轉譯為(wèi)主語
英語句子(zǐ)的(de)主語有(yǒu)時(shí)可(€δ®kě)以轉譯為(wèi)漢語的(de)定語，在這(zhè)種情況下(xià)，原句子(z↓★♦δǐ)的(de)表語往往可(kě)以轉譯為(wèi)漢語的(de)主語，β©♣如(rú)果作(zuò)表語的(de)是(shì)形容詞，該形容詞同時(shí)轉譯成名詞。如♦→(rú)：
* The rotor is a well-designed str♦≈ucture consisting of ™★≈a laminated core containing a winding.
轉子(zǐ)的(de)結構設計(jì)得(de)很(hěn)好(hǎo)↔εΩ，它由一(yī)個(gè)疊片鐵(tiě)芯組成，鐵(tiě)芯σ→&上(shàng)面繞著(zhe)線圏。
* Zirconium is almo↕←st as strong as steel.
锆的(de)強度幾乎與鋼一(yī)祥。
* Those nearer the δ→sun are more rocky, those farther away more≤& icy.
離(lí)太陽越近(jìn)，岩石塊越多(duō)：離(lí)太陽越遠(yuǎn)，則冰塊越多(®±duō)。
3. 主表倒譯
顧名思義，所謂的(de)主表倒譯，就(jiù)是(shì)把主語譯♥成表語，把表語譯成主語。常見(jiàn)的(de₩≥¶)主表倒譯有(yǒu)兩種情況。
(1) 當名詞作(zuò)表語時(shí)，主語和(hé)表語表達的(de)γ↔≥內(nèi)容往往是(shì)一(yī)緻的α↓©&(de)。這(zhè)時(shí)為(wèi)了(le)符合漢語的(de)修辭習(xí)慣，英語>€∏φ句子(zǐ)的(de)表語常常被轉譯為(wèi)漢語的(de)主✔'∏語，同時(shí)，英語句子(zǐ)的(de)主語被轉譯成漢語的♣λ÷₩(de)表語。如(rú)：
* Methane is the chief constituent in natura €↔£l gas, and it is formed as a by-product in♥★π the petroleum industry.≠™
天然氣的(de)主要(yào)組成部分(fēn)是(shì)甲烷，是(shì)石油エ業∑™≠ (yè)的(de)一(yī)種副産品。
* Aerodynamics is my field of research.
我的(de)研究領域是(shì)空(kōng)氣動力學。$✔®
* An example of a speech verification sy 'δstem is the Voicekey from Ecco Industrie"☆>s Inc. (Danvers, Mass.}.

(2) 這(zhè)種類型的(de)主表倒譯 ¶∏，通(tōng)常是(shì)用(yòng)來(lái)翻譯 It λ✘↑+ be +表語+主語從(cóng)句或不(bù)定式短(duǎn)語句型的(₽☆★×de)，也(yě)就(jiù)是(shì)将作(zuò)真正主語的(de)從(c↔ σóng)句或動詞不(bù)定式譯成表語，原表語譯成主β "↔語。如(rú):
It is note worthy that small as atom→→↔®s are, they contain vast amounts of ene<α≠rgy.
值得(de)注意的(de)是(shì)原子(zǐ)雖小(xiǎo)，卻具有(yǒu)很(h →ěn)大(dà)的(de)能(néng)量。 ✔（主語從(cóng)句轉譯為(wèi)表語）
* It is desirable to useΩ$ large units for measurement of ×αδlarge quantities and s♦©mall units for small quantities .
最好(hǎo)是(shì)用(yòng)大(dà)的(de)單位來(lái)測量大(d α♥δà)的(de)量值，用(yòng)小(xiǎo)的(d€✘≈e)單位來(lái)測量小(xiǎo)的(de)量值。（不(bù)定式短(≠σ♠λduǎn)語作(zuò)主語轉譯為(wèi)®σλ表語）
4. 轉譯為(wèi)謂語
在系表結構的(de)句子(zǐ)中，如(rú)果表語是(shì)含有(yǒu)動作©§σφ(zuò)意義的(de)形容詞、副詞或介詞短(duǎn)語，漢↕'→譯時(shí)系詞可(kě)以不(bù)譯，把原句的(de)表語₽♦直接譯為(wèi)漢語的(de)謂語。如(rú)：
* When the switch is on, the circuit is cl ☆™osed and electricity goes th↓↔±<rough.
将開(kāi)關合上(shàng)，電(♥×↔≤diàn)路(lù)就(jiù)閉合，而電(diàn)就(jiù)接通(tōng)了(lδ™®e)。（介詞作(zuò)表語轉譯為(wèi)謂語）
* In a feedback osc₩π"™illator the negative resistance will be evide∞✔↓∞nt only as an alternating§₽¥ current parameter of the circuit.
在反饋振蕩器(qì)中，負阻僅僅表現(×λγ÷xiàn)為(wèi)電(diàn)路(lù)的(de)交流參數(shù>£®)。（形容詞作(zuò)表語轉譯為(wèi)謂語）
1. 轉譯為(wèi)賓語
在談及某物(wù)質的(de)特性時(¥♥shí)，英語常用(yòng)系表結構的(de)句型±∏<♥來(lái)表達，其中表語通(tōng)常為(wèi)形容詞或of +名詞結←βδ÷構。這(zhè)時(shí)，系詞be可(kě)譯為(wèi)“具有(≥∑©↓yǒu)”、“屬子(zǐ)&rdqu∞π₽o;等動詞，作(zuò)表語的(de)形容詞或作(zuò)表語的(λ♦βde)of +名詞結構則轉譯為(wèi)名詞，在譯文(wén)中作(zuò)句子(zǐ)₹§↑的(de)賓語。如(rú)：
* Cutting tools must be strong, hard, tough, and α wear resistant.
刀(dāo)具必須有(yǒu)足夠的(de)強度、硬度、韌性和(hé)耐磨性。
* The early steam engines were of the <§✔piston-type.
早期的(de)蒸汽機(jī)屬于活塞型。
2. 轉譯為(wèi)定語
如(rú)果形容詞作(zuò)表語，且句子(zǐ)主語有(yǒu)定 ♦★語的(de)修飾，漢譯時(shí)為(wè€→i)使譯文(wén)自(zì)然、通(tōng)順，常常可(kě)以把表語轉譯為(wèi✘∑)定語。如(rú)：
* In this air mechanics laboratory, few instrum→σ₹εents are valuable.
在這(zhè)個(gè)空(kōng)氣動力學實驗室裡(lǐ)，貴重的(deπγ)儀器(qì)不(bù)多(duō)。
* In this book, many th×><eories are very important.
在這(zhè)本書(shū)中，重要(¶$β yào)的(de)理(lǐ)論很(hěn£∞σ±)多(duō)。
